Calypso of Saturn in rare visit to Earth…

Calypso of Saturn spent a couple of hours travelling the length and breadth of the Solar System recently, accompanied by several Earthlings as the wonders and tales of the Universe starred along the Saltline Way….many thanks to the Cheshire Rangers for guidance and safe passage.

Heswall Disabled Children’s Holiday Fund

What a privilege and a pleasure to have spent an evening with the fantastic people on this holiday camp…campers and volunteers alike. Tales of secret agents, spies and derring-do…!

As Summer turns to Autumn…

Another very successful summer season of storytelling at Tatton Home Farm is now at an end. Fantastic Mr Fox lives to tell another day! But Harvest beckons and I will be back on the Farm 17th and 18th September for their very special Harvest Festival Weekend….and then Christmas will soon be here!

Dahl, Lowry, stories, stories, stories…

This year has begun and is continuing to be manic! I should not complain…there is lots happening.

Christmas at Tatton!

2015 brought a warm, wet Christmas…but this didn’t dampen spirits at Tatton Home Farm. What joy to be telling Christmas tales once again.

Kaleidoscope triumphs!

A very big thank you to all the performers, support staff and volunteers of Carter House Daycare Centre and Daneside Theatre, Congleton! The 4th September played host to mayhem, magic and mischief as Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ was presented to a delighted public.

Summer fun on the Farm…now for Harvest

I had great fun again at Tatton Home Farm throughout the summer…even the shocking weather could not dampen spirits as we gathered in the magical woodland for storytime.

The stories continue for Harvest…so expect giant vegetables, spells, a very special cake to make, and a mouse without a tail!
